Position Overview:
Join our team as an Enterprise Business Development Manager, where you’ll play a crucial role in driving our business forward. In this dynamic position, you will develop and foster one of our top-5 major mining accounts in collaboration with sales and operations teams, grow aftermarket revenues and increase market share by nurturing and developing key relationships and providing enhanced solutions to our customers.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Major Mining Account Development: Drive the growth of key account management, including customer relationship management, Master Service Agreement management, and contract management. Engage in senior and mid-level relationship development, needs analysis, and implementation plans.
- Sales and Performance Management: Partner with the Mining Marketing Team to manage sales within the Strategic Account Manager portfolio. Maintain and enhance Master Service Agreements and contractual details with the sales team. Attend meetings with subsidiary offices and sales reps to strategize on potential within aligned strategic accounts.
- Market and Opportunity Analysis: Conduct research on market fundamentals and economic drivers affecting strategic customers. Provide monthly reports, identify new fleet and business opportunities, and align with peer Business Development Managers to promote enterprise-wide sales.

Education & Experience:
- 5-10 years of progressively responsible sales and leadership roles
- Post-secondary degree in a related field is an asset
- Understanding of customer economic models and development of timely deal strategies
- Experience in coaching and developing sales representatives
- Preferred background in heavy equipment, mining, or related industries
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
- Effective time management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of sales operations
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis
- Ability to achieve profitability, cost, and asset management targets
