**Positions and Shifts**:
Multiple Positions on Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
**Compensation**:
Depends on Experience.
**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for the rewarding position of Mechanical Assembler at Ben Machine Products will include the following:
- Adjust and use appropriate tools and fixtures to assemble aerospace and defence components as required by relevant drawings and process plans.
- Follow internal, customer and manufacturer assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
- Pull and control all hardware and components that may be needed to complete a work order.
- Operate all tools and machinery with all safety precautions in place.
- Where required, measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance.
- Regularly lift 10 pounds and occasionally lift 25 pounds.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
- All other duties as assigned.
**Experience**:
- 3+ years' experience in mechanical assembly or a similar mechanical field required.
- High school diploma required, college preferred.
- Experience with helicoil, standoff and rivet insertion.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
