**More About the role**:
Success in this role requires excellent relationship-building, time-management, and attention to detail skills along with the ability to manage multiple searches in various stages from posting preparation through to onboarding. The Recruitment & Onboarding Specialist will report to the Vice President, Operations - Canada and work collaboratively with hiring managers across Canada to source and select cast members to join our team, then help them integrate quickly into their role and our culture.
**Job Duties**:
- Working with the hiring managers to determine staffing requirements for their location.
- Research cost-effective recruitment methods and stay on top of current trends in attraction, recruitment, selection, and onboarding.
- Assist with the review of job postings and other HR documents.
- Attend job and career fairs.
- Research potential community business partners and build and maintain relationships with them.
- Oversee the CanaDream onboarding process and work collaboratively with hiring managers, human resources, payroll, and other areas of the company to conduct onboarding with each new hire.
- Enroll new cast members in required training courses.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
**Qualifications**:
- Must have at least one year of recruitment experience in a fast-paced setting.
- University Degree or diploma in Human Resources.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment is essential to this role.
- Must be detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple requests under pressure, and effectively prioritize tasks at hand to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion, maintaining confidentiality.
- Must have a “happy to” attitude and a love of working in a team environment.
