HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Advisor is responsible for providing full cycle recruitment for all clerical and production worker vacancies across Canada. The HR Advisor works closely with the local leadership team and assigned regional leaders, providing guidance to managers and employee groups on labour and employee relations-related matters.

This position is on-site, and can be based in either St Clet, QC or Tillsonburg, ON.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Effectively communicates with all employees regarding inquiries and concerns.
- Coordinates the orientation program for new employees.
- Coaching managers and supervisors in the effective communication and delivery of team member performance management.
- Participate in the completion of employee performance evaluation.
- Assist with the coordination of internal and external training programs.
- Maintaining and updating employee information housed in the HRIS and in paper-based employee files.
- Participate and assist in the health and safety component with the Health and Safety department.
- Participate and assist in the grievance committee, as well as the management of grievances.
- Conduct research in key areas of human resources.

**Education & Experience**
- Post-secondary education (degree, diploma, certificate) in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
- 3 - 5 years of human resource generalist experience; preferably in a product manufacturing environment.

**Knowledge & Requirements**:

- ** Bilingual in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).**:

- Accurately translate French documents to English and English to French.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Databases and Outlook).
- Familiarity with ADP is an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of labour law, employment standards, human rights and collective agreement administration.
- Above average communication, interpersonal, conflict/challenge resolution/negotiation, organizational skills and time and priority management.
- Ability to initiate, develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships throughout all levels of the organization.

Relevant du responsable RH, le Conseillère en Ressources Humaines est responsable du cycle complet de dotation pour tous les postes administratifs et de production partout au Canada. Le Conseillère en Ressources Humaines travaille en étroite collaboration avec l’équipe de direction locale et les dirigeants régionaux, fournissant des conseils aux gestionnaires et aux employés sur les questions relatives au travail et aux relations avec les employés.
