**Job Summary**:
The Category Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of products within the skin care, health, and beauty categories. This role involves developing and executing purchasing strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, controlling inventory, and analyzing performance to optimize the product assortment, pricing, and profitability.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain supplier relationships for optimal pricing and quality.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of purchase.
- Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast demand.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing on promotions and product launches.
- Generate and analyze sales and inventory reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Work cross-functionally with other departments.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or category management, **preferably in skin care, health, or beauty**.
- Strong knowledge of the skin care, health, and beauty market.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in **Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)** and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to use basic graphic design tools like Canva is a plus.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
