Role Designation: Hybrid 1-2 days in Office Benefits to joining Allstate - Flexible Work Arrangements - Employee discounts (15% on auto and property insurance, plus many other products and services) - Good Office program (receive up to 400$ back after purchasing office equipment) - Student Loan Payment Matching Program for Government Student loans - Comprehensive Retirement Savings Program with employer matched contributions - Annual Wellness allowance to support employees with improving health and wellbeing - Personal reflection day - Tuition Reimbursement - Working within the community and giving back Our team is growing and we are actively looking to hire a Billing & Collections Associate to join our team You will be reporting to the Manager, Broker Accounting Accountabilities: - Accurately process payments and returns received in Direct Billing - Providing professional and respectful customer service to internal and external customers regarding all billing and collection related issues - Investigate and correct any discrepancies and ensure payment receipts are processed within prescribed timelines - Providing support and cooperation to other departments as well as team members to successful meet plan Qualifications: - Minimum High School Diploma; Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Accounting or Finance preferred - Minimum 3 years’ experience in Billing and Collections and/or customer service - Basic to intermediate accounting concepts is essential - Intermediate level PC and software skills required - Attention to detail and accuracy required - Experience with PLUS an asset - Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills - Ability to collaborate with peers and subordinates to reach goals as well as the ability to work well independently Allstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
