**The Opportunity**

General Bank of Canada is looking for a permanent, fulltime **Funding Coordinator II** to join the organization as a key contributor with the Bank’s Funding & Dealer Services team. **Responsibilities**

**_ Loan Processing & Administration_**
- Review all documentation received from dealerships to ensure compliance with GBC policies and Anti Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Maintain loan files by logging relevant loan data in the Bank’s systems, tracking the accuracy of customer loan information, and adhering to guidelines.
- Prepare and assist in the processing of all loans or loan cancellations so that records of documentation are maintained in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Review, enter, and fund loan files daily, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s loan workflows, processes, and procedures.
- Deliver courteous and professional customer service to dealership personnel while following up with dealerships, other financial institutions, and solicitors to obtain additional documents as required to complete the loan funding.
- Assisting with the authorization and processing of exceptions in relation to loan processing, administration, and dealer services.
- Managing the process of reversing loans that were funded in error or need to be cancelled.

**_ Dealer Support_**
- Responsible for creating new manual registrations, lien amendments, renewals, and manual discharges.
- Support the legal team with administration and conducting searches for liens, corporate and land as required.

**_ Administration _**
- Assists the Manager & Team Leads in the training of staff.
- General administrative duties related to the upkeep of the department.
- Responsible for assisting the Manager and Team Leads with back-end tasks, daily AML reporting, and internal process audits related to the department.
- Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to enhance the quickness and efficiency of departmental processes.
- Actively participate in creating a culture of continuous improvement as it relates to the procedures, and tasks to ensure we are focused on elevating the experience of our internal partners and external partners at GBC.

**What You Bring to the Table**
- Previous experience in administration, back-office support or customer service within financial services is required.
- Demonstrated success in a Funding Coordinator I or related position is required.
- Previous experience in automotive financing or consumer lending is an asset.
- High school diploma required, combined with some post-secondary education in the fields of administration/business, finance, or related work experience is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of retail loan products, lending processes and an understanding of credit terminology is an asset.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment which requires the ability to be flexible, multitask and work between several systems simultaneously.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills, with a high degree of accuracy and diligence ensuring deadlines are met and no details are overlooked.
- Proven ability to read and articulate policy and legislation.
- Strong technological skills, including experience with MS Office skills (Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Compensation: $49,180.32 - $66,538.08
