**The Opportunity**
General Bank of Canada is looking for a permanent, fulltime **Funding Coordinator** (Analyst)** to join the organization as a key contributor with the Bank’s Funding & Dealer Services team. Consistent with the growth trajectory of the Bank, this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to contribute to building the Bank of the future with considerable potential for learning, growth, and advancement.
Reporting to the Team Lead, Funding & Dealer Services, the Funding Coordinator is responsible for the timely processing of all auto loans. This includes reviewing and funding automobile loans, as well as ensuring compliance and completion of the loan documentation. As a key member of the Funding & Dealer Services team, the Funding Coordinator ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies when reviewing and funding auto loan documents.
**Responsibilities**
**_ Loan Processing & Administration_**
- Review all loan documentation from dealerships to ensure compliance with GBC and Anti Money Laundering policies.
- Maintain loan files by logging relevant loan data in the Bank’s systems, tracking accuracy of customer loan information, and adhering to guidelines.
- Review, enter, and fund loan files daily, ensuring adherence to the Bank’s loan workflows, processes, and procedures.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to dealership personnel, following up with dealerships, financial institutions, and solicitors to obtain necessary documents for loan funding.**_Dealer Services_**
- Review and maintain lien registration reports, create new manual registrations, lien amendments, renewals, and manual discharges. Support reporting requirements by reviewing and maintaining lien registration reports.
- Resolve escalated issues raised by dealerships through research, clarifying questions, and providing alternative solutions that comply with the Bank’s policies and procedures. Support GBC Representatives and First Canadian Representatives with inquiries and issue resolution.
- Support the legal team with administration and conducting searches for liens, corporate, and land as required.
- Recommend improvements to policies and procedures to enhance the quickness and efficiency of departmental processes. Participate in creating a culture of continuous improvement to elevate the experience of internal and external partners at GBC.
**What **You** Bring to the Table**
- Previous experience in administration and customer service is required. Within financial services industry is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education in a related field such a finance, commerce, business, etc., is an asset.
- Knowledge of retail loan products, lending processes, and credit terminology is beneficial.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, demonstrating flexibility, multitasking, and proficiency in multiple systems.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritizing skills, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $43,911.00 to $59,409.00.
