Job Summary

**A Brief Overview**

The schedule for this position requires the incumbent to work occasional early mornings, evenings and / or weekends, and may also require participation in an on-call rotation to provide system support outside of regular work hours.

This position will leverage tools such as Azure Automation, Ansible, PowerShell or Unix scripting and GIT through Azure Devops. In addition this role will gain experience with WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop) technology, and monitoring and backup services ensuring compliance with security standards.

**Job Description**:

**What you will do**
- Completes work from ticket workflow including new staff setups, access requests, hardware requests and training setups.
- Troubleshoots problems with software, hardware, installation and upgrades.
- Configures systems and security on software to protect data by encryption and domain password security.
- Maintains documentation on installation and configuration specifications.
- Supports users through technical knowledge to ensure proper use of software and hardware.
- Identifies staff system requirements and develops and implements deployment schedules.
- Maintains file servers, and analyzes file server usage reports.
- Other duties as required in support of the department and/or unit.

**Required Education**
- Three-year Community College Diploma or Three-Year Bachelor Degree, or equivalent. In addition, requires trade certification, qualification, or on-going learning to remain ahead of changes in technology or emerging fields.

**Required Experience**
- More than 2 years and up to and including 3 years of experience.
- Consideration may be given to an equivalent combination of education and experience.
