**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lead Hand to join our team. As a Lead Hand, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping and maintenance tasks. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, and assist the crew lead and team members in a dynamic environment.

You will work daily with 1-2 team members and the crew leader. You will be expected to drive a truck and trailer to move equipment and pick up and deliver materials. Work without direct supervision on smaller tasks with the ability to direct other crew members.

**Duties**
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Perform landscape install activities including planting, laying pavers, and mulching.
- Forming and pouring concrete sidewalks, curbs and small walls and slabs.
- Build and maintain landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls, topsoil and sod.
- Hand dig trenches as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is required.
- 2 years previous experience with concrete is required.
- 2 years experience operating skidsteers and other compact equipment
- 2 years experience driving pickup trucks and trailers
- Valid class 5 license with clean drivers abstract
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical knowledge is required.
- Knowledge and understanding of setting grades and using a laser level
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
- A passion for gardening and outdoor work is highly valued.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
