**Position Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Team Supervision & Operations Management**:

- Lead and supervise a team of butchers, meat cutters, and deboners.
- Assign daily tasks and manage workflow to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
- Train new employees on cutting, deboning, quality control, and food safety procedures.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.

**Cutting & Deboning Oversight**:

- Oversee the cutting, deboning, trimming, and packaging of meat products based on customer specifications.
- Ensure all meat is processed efficiently and accurately, removing bones and defects as required.
- Supervise quality control checks to ensure product meets required standards before packaging.
- Monitor weighing, labeling, and packing to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Food Safety & Sanitation:

- Enforce food safety practices and ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular workstation and equipment inspections to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products to prevent contamination.

**Communication & Coordination**:

- Communicate production updates, challenges, and safety issues to management.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and reporting stock levels.
- Assign daily tasks and manage workflow to meet production targets and customer deadlines.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
- Train new employees on cutting, deboning, quality control, and food safety procedures.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching or corrective action when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a butcher, deboning, cutting, or meat processing (supervisory experience preferred).
- Proficiency in knife handling and deboning tools.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality control processes.
- Ability to identify product defects and make appropriate adjustments.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High attention to detail and quality assurance.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 100 lbs.
- Comfortable working in cold environments (-10°C to +4°C).
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

**Working Conditions**:

- Cold production and storage environments.
- Fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Routine use of sharp tools, machinery, and raw meat and poultry.
- Strict hygiene, safety, and PPE compliance required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
