Premier Built Garages is an independently owned and operated garage builder specializing in detached garages and garage suites. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, we take pride in our highly skilled team and strong partnerships with top sub-trades and suppliers, ensuring excellence from sales to construction and project completion.

We are seeking a **Junior Bookkeeper** to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will support our bookkeeping and accounting team with general bookkeeping tasks and cross-training opportunities, particularly during peak seasons.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Enter and reconcile all credit card transactions
- Process accounts payable, including entering bills and assisting with trade payments
- Enter and allocate permits
- Prepare completed packages for customers (invoices, plans, etc.)
- Maintain records for insurance and WCB compliance for all suppliers and trades
- Assist with commission payroll
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when handling financial and sensitive information
- Provide general support to the bookkeeping team as needed

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Experience or background in bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to in-house software systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective time management and ability to handle high volumes of work during peak seasons
- High level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with financial data

**Job Details**:

- Type: Part-time (Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Pay: $23-$25 per hour (based on experience)
- Work Location: In-person only (no remote work option)
