**Job Title**: Adult Skills Centre - Program Supervisor
**Reports To**: Executive Director
**Position Overview**: The Adult Day Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the adult day program, ensuring high-quality care and engaging activities for participants. This role involves managing staff, coordinating services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and programs that meet the needs and interests of participants.
- Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, families, and caregivers to create individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including attendance, incident reports, and progress notes.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage the program budget and resources efficiently.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by staff, participants, or families.
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, healthcare administration, recreation, community programing or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a similar setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of regulations and best practices in adult day programs.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
- Successful completion of UMAB training required.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position with typical business hours, but may require some evenings or weekends.
- Physical ability to assist participants with mobility and personal care as needed.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and respond to emergencies calmly and effectively.

- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in documentation and record-keeping.
**Rate** $28.85/hr (base)+ $3.00 (wage subsidy) when applicable - _c/o The Ontario Wage Enhancement Program. _
Upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, the incumbent will receive a signing bonus of **$500** (_based on the position and qualification level_).
