**Hickman Automotive Group** is looking for a** Utility Person **person to join our team at **Hickman Truck Centre** in **St. John's**. If you are an energetic and motivated individual who is looking for growth within a family-owned company, we would love to have you This position does not require automotive experience.
The Utility person can have many different roles within the dealership. They are responsible for maintenance and repairs throughout the dealership, maintaining the lot, minor repairs on equipment, and other tasks, as required.
**Responsibilities**
- General custodial and maintenance tasks (sweeping/mopping floors, assisting in clean-up of spills, and general housekeeping duties)
- Picking up parts
- Unloading freight
- Transporting vehicles as needed
- Assisting in ensuring the neat appearance of the dealership and lot (ie. picking up litter, shoveling snow off vehicles, vehicles parked correctly, etc.)
- Shuttle customers
- Cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles
- Other duties as needed
**Qualifications**
- Has a valid driver's license and has maintained a clean driving record.
- Professional and always has a positive attitude.
- Reliable and organized.
- Must be able to work independently and comfortable in taking direction from others.
- Ability to reprioritize tasks due to changing circumstances or events.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Organizational skills.
- Experience will be considered an asset.
