We are currently recruiting Site Construction Foreman/Lead Hand to join our team. In this position you would execute daily activities on active projects including directing internal crews, external subtrades and managing material deliveries under the direction of the Site Supervisor.

**Responsibilities**
- Review daily tasks with site supervisor
- Communicate and lead team members for the execution of construction tasks required under the scope and schedule of the project
- Ensure trucks and equipment are prepared, maintained and ready for daily activities
- Understanding and safe operation of construction equipment
- Proper and accurate use of various small tools including laser survey equipment
- Physical labour to assist in the completion of construction tasks including potential heavy lifting
- Ensure daily duties are completed in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations
- Complete daily and weekly hazard assessments, equipment review, safety talks and hourly tracking
- Other duties as required by the site supervisor or operations team

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of similar experience in civil, landscape, earthwork or environmental construction
- Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
- Ability to understand construction processes
- Strong work ethic with ability to follow direction and provide effective instruction
- Understanding of grade control
- Experience operating equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators, farm tractors
- Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year
- Organizational skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $33.00-$43.00 per hour
