**Position**: Working Foreman - Construction & Finishing Trades
**Location**: Guelp Region
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**About Us**:
We are a growing industrial and commercial construction company specializing in high-quality finishing and installation work. We are looking for an experienced **Working Foreman** to lead our crew, maintain high standards of craftsmanship, and ensure projects are completed on time and on budget.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and work alongside crew members on-site.
- Perform and oversee:
- Drywall framing, installation, taping, and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Ceiling and flooring installation (tile, laminate, specialty finishes)
- Door installation, including hardware fitting
- Ensure work meets quality, safety, and building code standards.
- Coordinate daily activities, delegate tasks, and manage schedules.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and suppliers.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction, with strong skills in drywall, painting, and finishing.
- Previous foreman or lead-hand experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Working at Heights) an asset.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
