**Overview**

This is an afternoon shift from 3 -11 pm Monday to Friday, Sundays or Holiday Mondays when necessary.

**Duties**
- Arrange transportation and dispatch load confirmations to carriers and fleet dispatchers.
- Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries to meet customer requirements.
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Track and trace loads during shipment, providing customers with timely updates.
- Dispatch 20+ trucks using TMS software (AFM).
- Update shipment statuses, close orders in dispatch software, and upload PODs after delivery.
- Work closely with day dispatcher to ensure all orders are updated, drivers are dispatched and routes are completed.
- Work closely with night load planner to ensure all orders are loaded complete and details are accurate.
- Generate weekly and monthly mileage reports for the Planner.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Team to ensure accurate customer invoices and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Meet company goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in transportation coordination or logistics management is required. Minimum 2 years dispatching experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using transportation management software or similar systems.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
- A valid driver's license may be required depending on specific job duties.

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
