**Role**:
This position is responsible for analyzing and reporting of Contract Sales margins. Individuals in this position will work closely with Finance, Sales and Merchandising to identify anomalies in margin trends and determine areas of opportunity.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes weekly margins, identifies and reports anomalies, concerns and potential for opportunity
- Supports Revenue Manager with required reporting & analysis
- Works closely with the Pricing team to rectify potential issues impacting margin
- Creates standardized revenue audit process to analyze and maximize profitability
- Provides weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
- Collaborates with Merchandising team to ensure appropriate costing and customer compliance
- Assists with pretax calculations, financial modelling and annual margin forecasting
- Creates interactive and informative executive summary dashboards using Tableau and Power BI
- Supports analysis for alternative product options to improve profitability
- Automates tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy using Power Query, Power Automate, SQL & VBA
- Prioritizes and respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and other departments
- Complies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.
- Is willing to work safely with mínimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their supervisor.
- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and are willing to speak out when hazards are present.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you)**:

- Minimum two (2+) years in an analyst position
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent experience
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Tableau, SQL
- Knowledge of pricing, merchandising and sales is an asset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Customer oriented
