TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION**:
**Technical support**
- Keeping service tickets up to date by rigorously documenting every ticket’s life cycle.
- Diagnosis of computer, electronic or simulator specific problems, via telephone, remote control or on site.
- Schedule and install software updates remotely using our automated tools..
- Participate in improving our knowledge bank by documenting your best solutions to make them available to the entire team.
- Occasional startup of new simulators for onboarding and internal training as the product evolves

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**:
The profile we are looking for:

- Curious: likes to learn and understand the world of simulation
- Cartesian mind: common sense of diagnosis, proceeds by elimination.
- Manual: easy to disassemble and reassemble parts
- Organized: Knows how to plan his time well and prioritize critical tasks
- Bilingual: Most of our clients are English speaking
- Team spirit: Likes to help colleagues and knows how to ask for help when necessary.

**TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- DEC, AEC or DEP in computer technology or technical support (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent command of Windows 7-10 (XP an asset)
- Experience with computer repair (hardware, software, BIOS, and imaging)
- Excellent command of oral and written English

- Good command of oral and written French
- 0 to 2 years’ experience recommended, but we will also consider people fresh out of school.
- Knowledge of electromechanics, an asset
- Knowledge of programming, an asset
- Knowledge of networking, an asset
- Experience in quality assurance, an asset

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
