We are a fast-growing automotive services group, specializing in Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Calibration. Our Calgary location is looking for a high-performing Shop Manager / Site Supervisor to drive daily operations and maintain top-tier service delivery.

Position Summary

As the Shop Manager, you’ll run the heartbeat of the shop—overseeing a team of technicians, streamlining processes, and ensuring every vehicle leaves our doors on time and done right. This role demands operational know-how, leadership acumen, and a customer-first mentality.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead a team of PDR and ADAS calibration technicians, providing clear direction and support.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach technicians to maintain skill and compliance standards.
- Create a culture of accountability, safety, and performance excellence.

Operational Oversight
- Manage all store activity: workflow, job scheduling, vehicle intake/delivery, and quality assurance.
- Balance technician workload to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specs for ADAS calibration and industry best practices for PDR.
- Maintain and enforce safety protocols and cleanliness standards in the shop.

Customer & Insurance Partner Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance partners, fleet accounts, and walk-in customers.
- Communicate repair timelines, calibrations, and service details professionally and proactively.
- Resolve customer complaints and job-related escalations in a confident, solutions-oriented manner.

Workflow & Process Management
- Own the shop schedule and ensure all calibrations and repairs are completed on time.
- Ensure parts, tools, and calibration targets are available and properly maintained.
- Monitor inventory, flag supply issues, and handle equipment maintenance or escalations.

KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics (cycle time, throughput, comeback rate, labor utilization).
- Use software tools (e.g. Recon Pro, Mitchell, Audatex, Progi) to manage workflow and billing.
- Work with head office on financial forecasting and process improvements.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years in a leadership role within an automotive, collision, or PDR/ADAS environment.
- In-depth knowledge of repair shop workflow; PDR and/or ADAS experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Comfortable using technology and data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
