.*Duties* - Provide direct care and support to individuals with special needs, ensuring their safety and well-being. - Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and cleaning tasks. - Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary. - Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. - Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the overall quality of life. - Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. *Qualifications* - Previous experience in patient care, specifically with children and youth with ASD; or working within nursing homes or assisted living facilities is an asset. -. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. - Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in helping others. - Certification or training in relevant fields (such CYW, SSW, etc) is desirable but not mandatory. - Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
