**Role**:Social Worker
**Location**:Milton, ON

**Role Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Help individuals and families cope with and overcome challenges and transitions they are facing (ie. in birth trauma, relationship stress, parenting challenges etc.).
- Observe client behaviour and assess their needs in order to create treatment strategies.
- Teach different skills and development mechanisms to support clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust their treatment plans accordingly.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare providers at The WOMB.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered and within good standing with the Ontario College of Social
Workers and Social Service Workers
- Masters of Social Work preferred
- A positive, professional and flexible attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and computer skills
- Proven assessment and intervention skills
- Discrete with confidential information
- Good time management skills
