Events Manager

Duties:
- **Event Planning & Coordination** - Meeting with clients to understand their needs, planning event details, and ensuring smooth execution.
- **Staff Supervision** - Managing wait staff, bartenders, and kitchen teams to ensure efficient service.
- **Venue Setup & Presentation** - Overseeing table arrangements, decor, and food presentation.
- **Customer Service** - Addressing client concerns, ensuring guest satisfaction, and resolving any issues.
- **Compliance & Safety** - Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- **Post-Event Review** - Evaluating event success and providing feedback for improvements.
**Requirements**:
- **Education** - A diploma or degree in **hospitality management, culinary arts, or event planning** is preferred.
- **Experience** - Minimum 2 years of experience in Hotel **banquet management** roles.
- **Certifications** - Valid Alberta ProServe Certificate & First aid.
- **Technical Skills** - knowledge of OPERA, excel, word is preferred.
- **Soft Skills** - Strong **leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service** skills.
- **Time Management Skills** - Must be able to efficiently manage schedules to minimize overtime while ensuring operational productivity and adherence to deadlines
- Starting pay $19.00 per hour plus gratuities
