**Position Summary**

The **Coordinator, Social Media (Forge FC)** plays a key role in executing Forge FC’s social media and digital content strategy across all platforms. Working closely with the Manager, Social Media & Digital Content and the Senior Director, Brand & Consumer Marketing, this role is responsible for supporting the planning, creation, publishing, and day-to-day management of Forge FC’s social media presence.

This position focuses on turning strategy into action—creating timely, engaging content, supporting matchday coverage, monitoring performance, and helping grow Forge FC’s digital audience. The Coordinator will contribute to campaigns that drive fan engagement, ticket sales, merchandise awareness, and overall brand affinity, while ensuring Forge FC’s voice remains authentic, consistent, and aligned with the club’s values.

This is an ideal role for a highly organized, creative self-starter who understands sports culture, lives in social media, and wants hands-on experience inside a championship-level professional sports organization.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create, schedule, and publish content accurately, on time, and on brand.
- Write captions and adapt content for platform-specific best practices.
- Manage social media content calendar.
- Support live matchday social coverage, including lineups, score updates, key moments, and post-match content.
- Assist with content capture at training sessions, fan events, and other team activities.
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages across Forge FC social channels.
- Support the creation of social-first content, including short-form video, graphics, and edits.
- Organize, tag, and maintain social media assets to ensure efficient use and accessibility.
- Track key metrics and compile regular performance reports for leadership.
- Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices in sports and digital media to support campaign planning and content ideation.
- Perform general administrative and operational tasks, including file management, data entry, and documentation.
- Support the Marketing team with other projects and tasks as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Passion for sports and media.
- Proficiency with Asana or other project management tools.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
- Photography, video, or graphic design experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Canadian soccer, particularly the Canadian Premier League is an asset.

**Qualifications**
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Coachable and collaborative.
- Ability to work event-based schedule that includes nights, weekends, and extended hours.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a social media role.
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Very strong written communication skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detailed knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and/or Facebook.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree.

**Compensation**
- $40,000 to $50,000.
