**About the Role**

As the 10th valued member of our team, the Marketing and Business Analyst plays a crucial part in supporting our marketing initiatives by conducting thorough research, analysis, and providing innovative digital solutions for IT-related projects, with a strong emphasis on optimizing our marketing systems.

The Marketing and Business Analyst has the opportunity to gather requirements, evaluate and recommend technology infrastructure to enhance marketing and business operations at Crisp and our client companies. You bring an enthusiasm for hands-on work, rolling up your sleeves to implement solutions. You find joy in configuring cloud-based business solutions like CRMs and project management tools, exploring new tools, and finding creative ways to integrate and automate processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on IT projects, propose innovative solutions for enhancing marketing systems, and recommend software solutions.
- Marketing Systems Support: Collaborate to understand and implement marketing technologies that align with business objectives.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for marketing systems, translating them into clear specifications.
- Solution Development: Support the development and implementation of marketing system solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Rollout and Implementation: Oversee the smooth rollout and implementation of the recommended software solutions, ensuring proper execution and alignment with business requirements.
- Training and Onboarding: Create user-friendly training materials, participate in training sessions, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful adoption of marketing technologies.
- Materials and Support Services: Coordinate material procurement and support services for technology implementation, ensuring smooth integration of marketing systems.
- Collaborative Support: Work with cross-functional teams, contribute insights, and present recommendations for implementing software solutions.
- Client Relations and Account Management: Manage client accounts and ensure satisfaction, including successful implementation of software solutions.
- Process Development: Create and maintain standard operating procedures to drive operational excellence in software implementation.

**Qualifications**
- While this is a remote position, you must be located in the Metro Vancouver area.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Marketing.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing systems implementation, IT project management or a related role. Experience in the marketing industry or consulting is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in marketing technologies and software solutions, such as marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of programming languages and database management is a plus. Must be familiar with automation and integration tools. Previous experience with Zapier is a must.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong research and analytical skills to identify areas for improvement, propose innovative solutions, and evaluate software options based on business requirements.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, gather requirements from stakeholders, and present findings and recommendations. Ability to document processes using flow diagrams and charts. Not afraid to use tools like LucidCharts or Miro to illustrate concepts.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including planning, coordination, and resource management.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and business needs.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in gathering requirements, documenting specifications, and implementing software solutions.
- Customer Focus: Dedication to understanding and meeting the needs of clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the implemented solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to marketing systems and software solutions.
