Business Analyst

The Business Analyst role is a key role within this team, and will provide leadership and expertise in the following areas: Presenting & explaining existing FNZ capability; Capturing & documenting customer business outcomes to create requirements and solution designs; Systems migration support and consultancy services; Engagement with Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) providers (eg CDS, DTCC) regarding integration and compliance; Customer training and knowledge transfer; Analyst & Developer handovers and support; Functional Reviews & BRS walkthroughs; Defect verification and triage. This role demands individuals who: Are consistently solution & execution focused; Capable of dealing with complex problems & environments; Have strong technology, analytical and data interpretation skills; Take ownership for an outcome on behalf of a customer; Comfortable with high levels of customer, stakeholder interaction & management. Who we are looking for: Experience in a consulting, business analysis or architecture environment. Equities, Fixed Income and/or Exchange-Traded Options clearing and settlement processes and workflows Experience in broking and custody markets in North America. An understanding of the regulatory environment in the US and Canadian markets. 5+ years of experience in a delivery/consulting environment in the financial services/custody market. 1st class degree or equivalent experience Be able to evidence establishing an environment of continuous improvement and capability development. Confident, and able to take initiative given client– and delivery-focused environment. Independent, self-directing and delivery focused working style. Superior analytical thinking. Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills. Good team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.
