Mac & Client Relationship Manager

**SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Managing Director, this dual role of **MAC and Client Relationship Manager **will be the prime on customer Business Unit Real Estate interaction and maintain constant understanding of each Business unit’s needs and future directions as it pertains to Real Estate and workplace demands and requirements. This individual will also be responsible for managing and executing day to day small MAC (Move, Adds, Changes) activities as it relates to the customer, as well as the Furniture Service Technicians, Drawing & Occupancy and Space Planning. The incumbent will have strong communication skills and have the ability to interact and manage customer expectations at all levels.
**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES**
**Client Project Support and Project Management**
- Consult and meet with clients to determine needs, preferences, budget and timeline, specific purpose of the space and/or project and other factors affecting the planning of interior environments.
- Work closely with the Drawing & Occupancy and Space Planning teams to support client needs.
- Collaborate with the Workplace Solutions team where required to support client needs.
- Maintain communication with client during project execution and work closely with project delivery team to ensure project success.
- Ensure the required design elements of every project are; clearly articulated; agreed and understood by multiple cross-functional concerned parties; managed in a collaborative, effective and efficient manner; to allow the Project Management team to successfully deliver intended outcomes.
- Provide project management on a small project level to assist in the full delivery of a project from start to finish including Agile projects.
**People Leadership**
- Manage the MAC team on MAC related tasks to help with priorities and workload demands.
- Manage the furniture service technicians (FST) to help with work order priorities and workload demands.
**Facility Planning and Workplace Design**
- Work closely and collaboratively with other team members, internal partners (HR, IT, Security, FM’s), and external consultants in the development and execution of appropriate workplace design.
- Plans and delivers move, Adds or change as well as facility planning projects.
**Vendor Management**
- Researches and liaises with vendors to obtain quotes. Provides recommendations on preferred vendor.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors. Monitor work progress to ensure completion.
**Other**
- Maintain and adhere to company guidelines and policies.
- Have the ability to work independently with a proactive approach to owning and getting the job done.
Excellent computer literacy, including illustrated proficiency Microsoft, PowerPoint, Excel and AutoCAD, Archibus or other CAFM tools would be considered an asset.
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Previous experience within a corporate real estate group, professional services, or design firm is an asset. This also includes excellent demonstrated, working knowledge of facility moves, adds and change, facility planning and project coordination experience.
- Knowledge of furniture systems.
- Ability to develop project budgets and detailed scopes.
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong communications (written and verbal) skills; proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in ambiguous and non-mandated environments with track record of being an enthusiastic and effective team player with experience of leading and influencing internal and external resources to ensure successful outcomes
- Creative thinker who always looks to find improved ways of working and a proven ability to deliver beyond the set task and to provide real added value to all work undertaken.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
- Travel is anticipated to be up to 20% for this position to various client sites within the portfolio.
**Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation**
- Valid Driver’s License.
