Brampton, Canada Park Animal Hospital Full time

We are searching for patient and attentive client care customer service representatives to join our team. You will be required to field scheme-related queries from customers, provide pre-authorization for medical treatment, and outline information regarding co-payments. You should also advise current and prospective members about the most suitable plans based on their needs.

Job Responsibilities:

- Quickly assess the user's issue and provides first level support for problem resolution
- Document information specific to the resolution and escalate unresolved issues expeditiously to the appropriate area
- Granting pre-authorizations for medical treatment, if covered.
- Advising clients of outstanding co-payments.
- Recognize operational challenges and suggest recommendations to management, as necessary

Minimum Education amp; Experience:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Thorough, with excellent listening skills.
- Ability to calm irate, anxious, or grieving customers.
- Capacity to navigate stressful situations with ease.
- Call center experience required (1 year preferred)
- Experience in medical claim processing is a plus
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
