The title of Optician is reserved for those licensed in Canada. - **Scheduling**:_
- We pride ourselves on creating a work/life balance for our entire team. This includes us being closed on most major holidays as well as every Sunday.
- Weekly hours will range between 24-40 hours per week. Hours are dictated based on the needs of the business and whether the applicant is seeking full time or part time hours.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their optical needs and inquiries.
- Utilize optical experience to recommend suitable eyewear and lens options.
- Conduct sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Stay updated on medical terminology to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as an Optician.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification (NACOR).
- Proven experience in retail sales and customer service within an optical setting.
- Strong understanding of eyeglass prescriptions, medical and lens terminology related to eye care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist customers effectively.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
