**Job description**

**General Responsibilities**:
Assist patients in finding the perfect pair of glasses
Accurately interpret optical prescriptions written by eyecare professionals
Take frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning
Dispense, adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyeglasses
Train new Eyewear Consultants on basic techniques
Keep up to date on product knowledge
Manage store inventory
Work as a team to support retail sales
Address customer concerns and work to resolve their issues
Perform other tasks as needed, including general reception duties, maintaining store cleanliness and opening and closing duties

**Required Education, Skills and Qualification**:
**Optical Retail Experience 1 year +**
**Proficient in the use of ophthalmic instruments such as, adjustment tools, lensometer (manual and automated), pupillometer and lens trial sets**

**Opticians' License is an Asset**

Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Great communication and problem solving skills
Open to flexible schedule with the ability to work Saturdays and some evenings
Fluent in written and verbal English, a second language an asset

We are looking for someone who can start work ASAP
