**Summary**
**Responsibilities**
1. **Territory Planning**: Develop and implement strategies to effectively cover the assigned sales territory. This involves identifying key accounts, setting sales targets, and creating action plans to achieve them.
2. **Customer Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the territory. This includes regular communication, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and providing solutions to meet their needs.
3. **Sales Prospecting**: Actively seek out new business opportunities within the territory. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online tools to identify and engage with potential customers.
4. **Product Knowledge**: Stay up-to-date with knowledge of the company's products or services, as well as industry trends and competitor offerings. This enables the territory manager to effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of their products to customers.
5. **Sales Presentations**: Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective customers, highlighting the features, advantages, and benefits of the company's offerings. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and concerns of each customer.
6. **Negotiation and Closing**: Negotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements with customers, ensuring mutual satisfaction and adherence to company policies. Close sales transactions in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
7. **Forecasting and Reporting**: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends within the territory. Use this data to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
8. **Team Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure alignment on sales strategies and customer needs. Share market insights and customer feedback to inform decision-making and improve overall business performance.
10. **Administrative Tasks**: Manage administrative tasks related to sales operations, such as updating CRM systems, preparing sales contracts and proposals, and tracking expenses within budget guidelines.
11. **Travel**: Depending on the territory, travel may be required to meet with customers, attend trade shows, or participate in company meetings and training sessions. Effectively manage travel logistics and expenses to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
By fulfilling these duties effectively, a sales territory manager can contribute to the company's growth and success within their assigned region.
**Requirements**:
- Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registered Nurse IS A MUST
- Must have minimum education of diploma or degree / certification coupled with minimum 3 years of experience in related field / job function.
- Expected to obtain further knowledge / experience in area of (as necessary)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
**Other Requirements**:
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policy
- Ability to manage several different projects at once
- Must excel in time management
- Ability to travel for company business when required
- Must follow company safety policy
- Must agree to and follow company confidentiality policy
- Must be able to communicate with internal staff and external customers respectfully through
- Proficient with Microsoft programs
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
