LAKERIDGE HEALTH Strategic Compensation Partner Human Resources REGULAR FULL TIME 8 HOUR DAY SHIFTS (Subject to Change) LAKERIDGE HEALTH OSHAWA SALARY: $39.081-$48.831 2200004004 DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards, the Strategic Compensation Partner represents the business needs in the planning and development of compensation, benefits and total rewards programs, oversees the job evaluation and market benchmarking programs and acts as lead on compensation matters. Compensation Partner and Initiatives (40%) " Work closely with Strategic HRBP and business leaders to design compensation and benefits programs so as to support Lakeridge Health's total rewards strategy " Develop guidelines and processes to ensure compensation & benefits practices for both strategic alignment and operational excellence " Increase awareness of total rewards philosophy through education, training, research and resources Compensation Review & Job Evaluation (30%) " Responsible for Job evaluation and pay equity process for both union and non-union, and ensures job descriptions are reviewed and properly maintained " Conducts annual review of all non-union jobs to ensure compensation structure is externally competitive, internally equitable and pay equity compliant " Prepares and analyzes annual report and potential changes to salary ranges to maintain and competitive and equitable structure " Partner with Finance to align on planning, monitoring and reporting Compensation Analytics (30%) " Develops and creates compensation analytics proactively to support business decision " Liaise with Benefits department related to the Total Rewards function " Other Duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: - Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, CHRP or a related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience; - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage related projects; - Demonstrated related experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and related reports preferably in a healthcare environment; - Knowledge/experience with Virtuo Hr and Meditech Payroll/Personnel software preferred; - Knowledge/Experience in compensation market benchmarking; - Demonstrated ability to prepare statistical and descriptive reports; - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including an aptitude for related systems problem-solving; and - Good interpersonal, oral communication and presentation skills. - Must have satisfactory performance record; - Proven good attendance record with capability of maintaining this same standard. - Demonstrated commitment to our core values of Inclusion, Compassion, Innovation, Teamwork and Joy CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Accommodation will be provided in all parts of the recruitment and assessment process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
