**The Opportunity**:
As a Patient Intake Specialist, you'll not only be the first point of contact for our patients but also play a crucial role in supporting our marketing activities. You'll be the welcoming voice that sets the tone for our patients' experience.

**This exciting position offers the opportunity to work 5 days per week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, at our New Westminster office. Joining our team presents abundant avenues for professional growth and development within the role.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Patient Engagement**: Interact with patients through inbound and outbound calls to schedule consultations and provide exceptional customer service
- **First Point of Contact**: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience from the very beginning
- **Sales and Customer Support**: Utilize your natural 'sales' abilities to recommend our services and resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy

**Duties**:

- Accurately process patient consultations via phone and online forms, ensuring all information is handled with care and confidentiality
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction at all times
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote our services and support campaign planning and execution
- Work closely with our Patient Care Coordinator team to address patient issues and achieve organizational goals

**Compensation**:
**$22.00 to $28.00 per hour,** we also offer a range of benefits including extended health care, dental care, disability insurance, life insurance, vision care and a health/lifestyle spending account.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:Customer service or call center operations** is advantageous; **sales experience** is highly valued, particularly in a healthcare sales background; **marketing, promotional activities or training staff **is valuable
- **Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: Your ability to communicate effectively, listen actively, and empathize with patients' needs is crucial for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive patient experience
- **Proficiency in English Language**: Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues
- **Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Healthcare Processes**: Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes is beneficial for effectively understanding and addressing patient inquiries and concerns
- **Sales Abilities**: Effectively communicate the value of our services to patients, guiding them through their decision-making process and ultimately contributing to the growth and success of our clinic
