Our priority is to welcome every guest to our beautiful resort, and we ensure our housekeeping standards are like no other. **Salary**: $19.00 per hour **Shifts**: Full Time, Permanent, 8-hour shift Key Responsibilities - Ensure public areas are clean and well presented. - Perform laundry tasks. These include, but are not limited to collecting, sorting, distributing, and stocking - Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms or public spaces are properly recorded and stored. - Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products and the correct handling procedures. - Deliver and retrieves items that have been given to guests. - Support Houseperson and deep cleaning duties when required. - Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, and polishing. - Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. - Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies. - Notify supervisors/managers of any damages, deficits, and disturbances. - Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. - Check stock levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate. - Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. Skills and Experience - Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. - Customer-oriented and friendly. - Able to prioritize and has strong time management skills. - Able to work quickly without compromising quality. - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, crouching, and kneeling.
