THE POSITION

Premier Design Build is looking for a full-time Carpenter who has extensive experience in building and managing all areas of residential renovations and & new home construction.

Applicants must be highly motivated, punctual and possess a strong work ethic working in a team environment.

YOUR DUTIES

Plan, organize, supervise and perform journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry in the alteration and construction of buildings.

Review project plans, and estimate time, material, equipment and supplies as needed.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, trade partners and homeowners.

Typical carpentry responsibilities and tasks include demolition, framing, insulation, drywalling, flooring, painting, cabinet installation, finish carpentry, window and door installation, basic plumbing and electrical knowledge, etc.

Valid Drivers license required.

Work truck preferable but not required.

Basic hand and power tools are required.

Minimum 5 years experience.

Starting wage is determined by experience & ability.

OUR DUTIES

We will provide you with the guidance and mentorship to succeed, in a positive collaborative environment within one of the fastest-growing construction groups in Winnipeg. We don’t expect you to have experience in all facets of construction but we do expect you to be willing to learn.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
