Applications are invited for the regular position of part-time International Student Services Reception in the International Division. The starting salary is $26.68 /hr for a 24 hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year such as start or end of term. The position is located at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Acting as front-line response for information inquiries and directing students/clients to appropriate staff/service, including managing Q-Matic
- Update the International web page with current peer mentor information, and other important updates as requested
- Ensure accurate communication distribution to students and staff using a variety of communication tools and programs
- Triage requests and escalate to appropriate unit as needed
- Assist with task allocation, coaching and assistance in supervision of student employees and volunteers through the mentoring of the International Student Services Coordinator
- Develop, review, and coordinate student facing logistics related to frontline service delivery
- Update the International web page with current peer mentor information, and other important updates as requested
- Collaborating with other service areas to promote international student integration and resource support
- Assist in event, activity, and training set up both on and off campus
- Assist with orientation planning, set-up, delivery, and follow-up as requested by the International Activities Coordinator
- Other duties as assigned to support the International Office functions and student supports

**Qualifications**:

- Two (2) year diploma in Event Management, Office Administration, Human Resources, Business, International Business, International Relations or similar field of study
- Team-orientated, organized, decisive, and detail-oriented
- Exceptional time management, critical thinking and organizational skills related to staffing and program delivery
- Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
- Intercultural communication skills gained in a capacity of staffing, scheduling or leading volunteers
