We’re growing our team and looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and collaborative **Product Development Manager** to bring new haircare innovations to life and lead projects from concept to launch.

**Role Overview**:
The **Product Development Manager** will play a pivotal role in driving new product innovation, development, and operational execution. From ideation to launch, this individual will lead the full lifecycle of new product development, ensuring every formula, component, and finished good aligns with Voir’s brand identity, standards, and strategic goals. This includes managing promotional development for kits, samples, and marketing merchandise, as well as handling compliance and regulatory processes**. Beauty industry experience, Strong market research skills**, **budget planning**, **manufacturer communication**, and **negotiation expertise** are critical to success in this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continuously conceptualize new haircare products aligned with the Voir brand vision and customer needs
- Conduct in-depth market research on ingredients, consumer demographics, product categories, and beauty trends to uncover whitespace opportunities and guide innovation.
- Understand haircare formulation chemistry and guide new products through standardized development processes from ideation to commercialization.
- Generate competitive analysis reports to benchmark pricing, features, and performance within the beauty space.
- Build and maintain strategic supplier and manufacturer relationships to ensure cost-efficiency, quality control, and timely production.
- Communicate effectively with manufacturers and suppliers to align on specifications, production timelines, and order fulfillment.
- Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing, terms, and supply chain partnerships.
- Develop and manage product development budgets to ensure cost-effective execution across all projects.
- Ensure comprehensive quality assurance testing is completed for all new launches, aligning with internal standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation, timelines, and workflow trackers to keep multiple projects running smoothly and on schedule.

**Regulatory & Compliance**:

- Ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance for all product development initiatives.
- Oversee all product certifications, ensuring up-to-date compliance with local and international industry standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Product Development, Project Management, or a related field.
- 4-5+ years of experience in product or project management, ideally in the beauty, CPG, or personal care industry.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operational dependencies.
- Demonstrated expertise in budget planning and financial tracking within product development cycles.
- Excellent market research skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable product opportunities.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with manufacturers and suppliers across all stages of development.
- Very strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and optimizing cost without compromising quality.
- Exceptionally organized with a keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects effectively.
- A creative thinker with an eye for innovation and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiar with regulatory and compliance requirements within the beauty and personal care industries.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to tackle any task
