Wine Sales Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic sales professional to join our growing brand as a **_Wine Sales Specialist with our Direct to Home team_** in Western Canada. You will report into the Direct to Consumer Manager West and will oversee our Direct to Home orders and Wine Club program at the following wineries - Gray Monk, Red Rooster and Sandhill. In this position you will work in a hybrid environment with flexibility to work from home office and in person at each winery as required. People visit our busy wineries across Canada to experience tastings, wines, food and learn more about our products. While visiting they can decide to take the experience home with them through our popular Wine Club memberships. They may also visit us virtually and buy wines through our new online storefronts on each winery's e-commerce site - which we call Direct to Home ordering. In this role, you will be responsible for wine club program sales and ecommerce orders at each winery. You will work with winery managers and teammates as well as customers and corporate teams like marketing or operations. You will handle administration for our new online storefront, manage orders, increase wine-related retail product sales and bring a positive relationship focused approach to Direct to Home orders and Wine Club customers. This position requires a flexibility to work weekdays, evenings and weekends with regular hours of Tuesday - Saturday and 37.5 hours per week. We are looking for someone with: - Sales experience - either in retail, customer service, call center or commission environment - Comfort with technology - proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word required - Excellent customer service and hospitality experience - Ability to network, meet new people and stay connected to the local community to discover new sales channels and relationships - Adept at complaint resolution and autonomous decision making - A "Can Do" attitude and enjoy working under pressure - An understanding of how to provide best-in-class service for customers - Post-secondary diploma in marketing, business or hospitality is not required but considered an asset This teammate will be accountable for: - Maintaining customer database of new members, updates, and cancellations - Accurate and prompt follow up phone calls to Wine Club Members and online customers - Offering solutions with an ability to resolve conflicts and customer complaints - Entering customer requests into our system software; assembling, validating and forwarding all new Direct Delivery and Wine Club customer sign-up information to internal systems for order tracking. - Creating opportunities to drive revenue growth by pairing customers with products and services - Maximizing monthly and quarterly billable clubs through diligent communication, minimizing card failures and maximize billable memberships and orders - Assisting the Wine Club Manager in the execution of quarterly Wine Club shipments and order processing - Executing member recovery efforts every month and quarter; monitor, analysis and make recommendations for improvement - Participating at Wine Club events when being hosted at the wineries - Performing other duties as directed Andrew Peller Limited is committed to meeting the needs of persons with temporary and/or permanent disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.
