**Primary Duties**
We are looking for entry level individuals with 0 to 2 years’ experience with the ability to work in the field to help with locating underground infrastructure, someone who is self-motivated, can work independently with minimum direction, or as part of a team.
**Education, Certification and Other Qualifications Required**
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is required as a minimum, and enrolled in a relevant post secondary program
- Must be eligible to return to post secondary education the following fall semester
- Experience performing utility locates would be an considered an asset
- Valid “G” driver’s licence for province of Ontario
- Experience reading and using engineering/surveying drawings considered an asset
Qualifications considered significant assets:
Previous experience in any of the below is considered an asset but not mandatory as training is provided:
- Experience working around underground utilities i.e., locating or installing
- Experience using GPS equipment (such as Leica)
- Experience/ability using GIS software tools (such as ESRI) and or AutoCAD
**Special Working Conditions/Conditions of Employment**
- A valid Class “G” driver’s license is a Condition of Employment.
