**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate a variety of machines safely in a manufacturing environment
- Operate a forklift following safety protocols
- Complete proper start up and shut down procedures for machines
- Identify and take action for machines when defects occur
- Maintain product tracing and quality control measures
- Action work orders by selecting and preparing the correct raw materials
- Move finished goods to the appropriate staging area
- Assist in other production positions as necessary such as warehouse picker, shipping/receiving etc as directed by the Production Lead
- Complete the required paperwork
- General housekeeping and appearance of work area

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role
- Proficiency in technical abilities
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs, continuously 50-60 lbs throughout the shift

**Wage and Benefits**

The wage will be determined based on experience levels but at minimum would be $19.00 per hour. We offer many perks like early Friday's, a good benefit package, employee assistance plan, virtual health plan and an matching DRSP.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Machine Operator: 3 years (preferred)
