About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Digital Sales, the Manager - Digital Monetization will lead a team to create digital sales opportunities across the entire portfolio of Corus digital properties. They will act as a key liaison between the digital product/content team and the digital sales team to facilitate communication, collaboration and development of integrated advertising solutions.
The Manager - Digital Monetization will also work closely with the 360 degrees integrated sales team, Tempo, to create cross-platform packages with strategic digital components. The role includes digital packaging of tent pole properties like The Morning Show, Big Brother Canada, Top Chef Canada etc.

**You’ll be working on things like**:

- Manage and lead a team of 3 Monetization strategists.
- Work cross functionally with production groups, creator network and social agency to determine processes and workflows for sales.
- Create unique and appealing monetization strategies to enable sales activation at scale.
- Participate in senior meetings pertaining to the development of products and packages for sales
- Support the monetization strategists in determining ideal products and packages by brands.
- Function as a key contact for sponsorships and integration opportunities across the entire digital media product portfolio and holder of the digital pre-sales process
- Leads and owns the integrated digital pre-sales process - participating in brainstorms with content, social, production and digital Account Managers during ideation process
- Promote a monetization-oriented mindset within the Product/Content team, while being mindful of editorial quality, brand integrity and user experience
- Develop highly-polished digital sales and promotional materials
- Push compelling and visually appealing, pre-packaged sales opportunities to the digital sales team and to market
- Collaborate with the online experience team to understand emerging technologies and opportunities and develop sales solutions to enable net new business
- Work closely with Product/Content team to maintain a portfolio of updated product overview for all sites
- Organize and facilitate monthly editorial meetings - Identify upcoming opportunities, set priorities and determine appropriate timing in order to optimize on the sales cycle
- Work closely with digital production and social teams to establish sales pricing and process
- Maintain a keen knowledge of competitive pricing landscape
- Be active in sourcing new digital technologies and providing POV to leverage for increase integrated sales offerings
- Keep up-to-date with general digital industry trends and performance of all Corus digital brands
- Maintain a monthly integrated sales reporting funnel - to include quantity of pitched/sold/executed integrated opportunities, revenue secured etc.

If you have the following we want to hear from you
- 5-7 years experience in a digital sales or digital media related role involving client service
- Leadership skills with 2 years of experience managing a team
- Capable of adapting & communicating highly technical information into value-based selling
- Exceptional PowerPoint skills and the ability to create concise and compelling presentations
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a variety of teams
- Familiarity with new media technologies, and a strong ability to identify emerging market trends
- An understanding of advertiser needs and the capacity to recommend opportunities that will drive the most interest
- Detail oriented, proactive approach, outstanding communication and listening skills
- Ability to work directly with clients as well as internal stakeholders across multiple teams
- Intermediate skills in Power Point, Word and Excel
- Photoshop experience preferred
- Knowledge of Corus brands - a BONUS
