Provide Children’s Grief support programs, including the group program and 1-1 support services.
- Offer in-school grief supports to all local schools as requested. Serve as a general resource for school counselors, teachers, parents and students.
- Provide yearly Teen Grief Peer Support Training to interested students via the work experience program in School District #33.
- Coordinate and oversee the annual Horse Whisperer Grief Camp for children with the other Child and Youth Program Manager.
- Develop new programming that will meet the needs of the Child and Youth clientele in Chilliwack.
- Understands both the hospice philosophy and the range of services to clients/families and others. Liaises with other care providers and refers to them any questions or concerns that are beyond the scope of the Hospice Society.
- Gathers, maintains, evaluates and reports program information to the Executive Director for each Board meeting. Records all his/her own hours worked each month. Maintains a current directory of all programs, clients and volunteers. Provides monthly report to Executive Director.
- Educational event development.

- Demonstrated interested in working with children, one on one and in groups, and in appropriate communication with adult caregivers.
- Excellent client service/focused skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- **Excellent ability to work both independently and in a small team setting.**:

- Ability to understand and comply with Chilliwack Hospice Society policies and procedures, vision, mission, and values.

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
