Pickering, Canada Agile Healthcare Full time

Agile Healthcare Solutions, a leading staffing agency in the healthcare industry, is currently seeking a Child and Youth Worker to join our team in Pickering, ON.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with children and youth to develop and implement individual care plans based on their needs and goals
- Provide support and assistance to children and youth in areas such as emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving
- Foster positive relationships with children and youth and their families, as well as with other members of the care team
- Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support as needed
- Attend and participate in team meetings, trainings, and other related activities as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and activities

**Key Requirements**:

- Diploma or degree in Child and Youth Care or Developmental Support Worker
- Minimum of 1 years of experience working with children and youth in a residential or community setting
- Valid CPR certification
- Vulnerable Sector Check Valid

**Education**:

- Diploma in CYC or DSW

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- DSW or CYC Diploma (preferred)
