Medical Aesthetician/ Laser Technician

As we begin to expand our team, AegisMD is looking for an experienced Medical Laser Technician with exceptional sales and customer service ability. AegisMD is a medical cosmetic and wellness clinic lead by Dr. Christina Plaskos.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review patient Intake Form
- Develop an understanding of the patient’s needs and expectations
- Create a detailed treatment plan for the patient
- Educate and sell the patient the needed services and products as per Treatment Plan
- Present pricing to patient
- Preparation for treatment
- Review Intake Form, Treatment Plan, Consent Forms, and product & service purchases
- Clean and prepare rooms
- Perform medical aesthetic treatments safely and effectively within capabilities
- Review and discuss post-care instructions with patients
- Documenting and consulting with physician on any adverse events
- Legible and detailed documentation in patients’ charts
- Update Consent Forms as needed
- Participate in social media and marketing efforts
- Answer phones and complete bookings
- Use point of sale system to cash out patients
- Ensure proper medical record keeping
- Complete fax and scanning duties
- Complete all required trainings on skincare products and treatments

**Skills & Qualifications**
- SIDESCO Certified preferred
- Trained Medical Aesthetician
- Laser experience preferred but will train as needed
- 3+ years in customer service
- Quick to learn new information
- Proficiency in technology and software programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional phone manner
- Strong time-management and people skills, flexibility and multitasking ability
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Engaging personality and optimistic outlook
- Ability to assist Doctor Plaskos if needed
- Product knowledge
- Knowledge of CoolSculpting would be an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- St. Catharines, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
