**The Opportunity**:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is an integral part of the Accounting team and will be working in support of external and internal customers.
**In this role you’ll**:
- Perform accurate and timely completion of accounts payable transactions
- Complete statement reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Ensure that invoices are accurately and efficiently coded, verified and entered into the accounting system
- Respond to queries from our internal and external clients in a timely and professional manner
- Support the Accounting team and various internal clients as directed
- Assist with ad-hoc projects
**Here’s what you bring**:
- Post-Secondary training in accounting
- 1-2 years' experience in an Accounts Payable department
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Customer service disposition with a desire to learn and grow
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- High degree of accuracy and keen attention to detail
- Ability to identify, resolve and/or escalate issues using good professional judgement
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion
- Demonstrated ability to work in MS Office Suite and various ERP systems
