We are looking for an enthusiastic **Prep Cook** to join our kitchen team. Our Lone Star prep cooks share a passion for food, and work with a team of culinary members to provide our guests with exceptional, freshly made food. We focus on making food fresh in house, while maintaining the highest standards of food and workplace safety. You will learn to make the best Tex-Mex north of the border, and be given the opportunity to advance your culinary career as far as you want to take it.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare food for service including our house-made salsa, queso, guacamole, pico de gallo, rice, beans, signature sauces, spices and more
- Work with our culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen.
- Collaborate with our service staff to ensure that our best products are being prepared and served to our guests.

**Requirements**:

- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
- Previous culinary experience is an asset but not required.
