Newmarket Volvo is looking for another F&I manager to join or growing operation
As an F&I (Finance and Insurance) Manager in the automotive industry, you will play a vital role in the dealership's finance department. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the finance and insurance processes, as well as maximizing profitability for the dealership. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with securing financing, selling various insurance products, and providing exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
**Responsibilities**:
Financial Services:
Assist customers in securing financing options for vehicle purchases or leases.
Negotiate interest rates and loan terms with financial institutions to secure the best possible financing options for customers.
Educate customers about available financing alternatives and help them make informed decisions.
Present and explain financial and insurance products, such as extended warranties, vehicle service contracts, GAP insurance, and credit insurance.
Insurance Sales:
Sell insurance products to customers, such as life, accident, and health insurance.
Explain insurance coverage options and benefits, ensuring customers have a clear understanding of their policies.
Assist customers with claims processes, acting as a liaison between the customer and the insurance provider.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including but not limited to finance and insurance laws.
Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentation.
Prepare necessary paperwork and contracts for vehicle purchases, leases, and insurance policies.
Review contracts with customers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
Provide customers with detailed explanations of financial terms, conditions, and contractual obligations.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, lenders, and insurance providers.
Follow up with customers after the sale to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs or questions.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless and efficient sales process for customers.
Communicate effectively with other departments, such as sales, service, and accounting, to streamline processes and resolve any issues.
**Requirements**:
A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as an F&I Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
In-depth knowledge of automotive financing, leasing, and insurance products.
Strong negotiation and sales skills with a customer-focused approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality and integrity.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards related to finance and insurance in the automotive industry.
**Salary**: $85,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
