Hamilton, Canada Charlton Medical Holdings Inc. Full time

A Billing Clerk opportunity is now available within a busy medical office located in Hamilton. This position offers between 24-30 hours per week, daytime, Monday through Friday. In-person training is required, once fully trained, working from home will be an option. Medical billing experience is not required but an asset. This position does not include benefits. Must be able to travel between two offices, both located in Hamilton.

**Responsibilities**:

- Data entry of physicians billing - Ohip, Wsib
- Submitting claims to Ohip
- Reconciling Billing issues ( health card rejections, billing errors)
- Billing Uninsured patients, Insurance Companies
- Following up with Third party billings (sending second bills etc..)
- Bad debting uninsured claims
- Wsib Forms - sending Wsib forms to Wsib electronically
- Manually paying Wsib forms in billing software
- Running Month End reports
- Processing Remittance Advices, reconciling errors
- Processing monthly statements for each physician with billing breakdowns
- Mail pick up and distribution for physicians
- Filing billing sheets
