**12 Month Contract**

Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure & Client Services, IT Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing service desk support to all Town users of technology. Provides technical support, including ,troubleshooting software and hardware issues; replacing and installing new personal computers and related equipment; maintaining the security of the desktop computing environment and, advising on software/hardware use. The Service Desk Analyst is also responsible for maintaining supplies for printers and other hardware and for.providing input and updates to the IT asset management system.

Job Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree specializing in Computer Sciences. Current and valid certifications in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), A+ or related, MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional are an asset.
- Knowledge of help desk tracking software and troubleshooting tools used within in a voice and data network to support the desktop computing environment.
- Proven analytical, interpretive and communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality when assisting with sensitive information.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team of technical professionals.
- Class “G” driver’s license in good standing.
- Sound organizational and customer service skills suited to a highly technical environment.
- Available to work a flexible schedule, including unscheduled and scheduled overtime, including a rotating on-call schedule, as required.
