**Role Summary**:
- The Network Administrator manages the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of our global corporate network, both on-premises and in the cloud. The Network Administrator participates in day-to-day operations, collaborates closely with the Security Network Engineer to ensure the network's security and efficiency.
**Role Responsibilities**:
- Network Maintenance and Optimization: Monitor, maintain, and optimize the performance of the corporate network and Wi-Fi systems across multiple global locations.
- Security Collaboration: Work closely with the Security Network Engineer to implement and maintain robust security measures, ensuring the network is protected against threats.
- VPN Deployment: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of virtual private networks across the organization to ensure secure remote access for employees.
- Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure seamless connectivity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to track performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with network hardware and software vendors to ensure the timely procurement and maintenance of network equipment and services.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network management and security and proactively suggest enhancements to existing systems.
- Providing support outside normal hours of work

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, WIFI, and VPNs.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet NSE4, or similar are highly desirable.
- Occasional travel required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- May be required to work extra after hours

Compensation Range:
- MIN: $69,600 - MID: $87,000 - MAX: $104,400 Currency: CAD
